As the slew of reunion tours continues, Backstreet Boys have joined the ranks with their biggest arena tour in nearly two decades.
The arena tour will see the legendary boyband visit four UK cities on their DNA World Tour, performing all over Europe and North America. It comes following news of a new album, DNA, due out January 25th via RCA Records and headed up by their new single Chances.
DNA will be the boys 10th studio album together, featuring tracks from industry heavyweights Lauv, Shawn Mendes, Ryan Tedder and more. Listen to their new track below:
When asked about the band’s journey, vocalist Howie D said: “When this group started 26 years ago – and through all the highs and lows of our career – we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group.”
“That’s what I love about this album,” Kevin Richardson continued. “We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”
“The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do,” says Brian Littrell. “We’re living the next chapter that hasn’t been told yet, and that’s exciting.”
The Backstreet boys’ groundbreaking Las Vegas residency has seen them performing at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, due to come to an end in April 2019 ahead of the world tour.
“Vegas has been amazing and these next set of dates are going to be a party,” says Littrell. “Then it’s time for us to visit our fans all over the world.”
