Queen and Ben Elton musical 'We Will Rock You' is heading on a huge UK & Ireland tour

The smash hit Queen & Ben Elton musical We Will Rock You is returning to stages in 2019 for a huge UK and Ireland tour.

Re-imagined for 2019, the show combines 24 of the biggest hits from Queen with the hilarious and futuristic writing of Ben Elton matching the scale and spectacle of the band's legendary live performances. Already it has seen unprecedented success in theatres and arenas around the world, spending 12 years and over 4000 performances at London's Dominion Theatre and successful tours in 2010, 2011 and 2013, and now it returns to perform in front of thousands of rocks fans in over 20 locations.

Since 2002, over 15 million theatre goers in 17 countries have been to see the thrilling, awe-inspiring musical, letting loose to fan favourites like We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody and of course, We Will Rock You

We Will Rock You the musical began when news hit the UK that one of Britain's most successful comedy writers was teaming up with one of the most legendary bands, leading to much speculation at what their collaboration could be. So much so that screen icon Robert De Niro and his company Tribeca attended the original workshop and came on board as American partners. De Niro continues to support the show, even making a special visit to London in 2013 to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary and joining the cast on stage after a landmark performance.

The announce of We Will Rock You's return to stage comes following the critically acclaimed film biopic Bohemian Rhapsody finding success in cinemas around the world.
