Cirque du Soleil take Avatar-inspired show to London and Manchester

Cirque du Soleil have announced an incredible new show is to come to the UK, inspired by James Cameron's critically acclaimed Avatar

Toruk comes as the first production from Cirque du Soleil to be developed alongside a film franchise, transporting you through the world of Pandora with cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft. Huge artistic and technological undertakings have seen the production recreate some of the most famous scenes from the film, from the floating mountains and the Omatikaya Hometree, to the Anurai animal sanctuary and the beautiful race of Na'vi, brought to life through the performers' breathtaking athleticism and acrobatics.

The live experience will bear earmarks of directors and multimedia innovators Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, echoing the Na'vi's symbiotic coexistence with nature as well as their beliefs on all of life's interconnectedness.
